We previously introduced the Chomprs Newborn and Infant to our webshop; two mouth openers specifically developed for babies. Such Chomprs are also available for older children, adolescents and adults. The complete range of Chomprs is now available.
The Chompr from the American manufacturer Armor Dental helps keep the mouth open in a controlled and comfortable manner during treatment. The mouth opener combines firm support inside the mouth with external stabilization. This creates more space in the mouth and gives the practitioner better visibility of and access to the area being treated.
From baby teeth to adult teeth
Armor Dental has developed the Chompr in five sizes. The Newborn is intended for babies from 0 to 3 months, and the Infant for babies from 3 to 12 months. The three larger sizes now complete the range: Small is designed for baby teeth, Medium for mixed teeth, and Large for adult teeth.
A Chompr can therefore be used for any patient for dental treatments or other situations where a comfortable, stable mouth opening is desired. The Chompr is made of non-toxic, non-reflective material, making it suitable for use in laser treatments. Because the Chompr can be cleaned in an autoclave, it is reusable.
Collaboration with Armor Dental
Armor Dental develops practical tools for oral healthcare professionals. At OMFT.info, we specifically look at products that are of interest at the intersection of dentistry, speech therapy, and oro-myofunctional therapy. The expansion of the Chompr range is part of the collaboration that manufacturer Armor Dental has now entered into with OMFT.info for the supply of its products in Europe. From now on, OMFT.info is the official supplier of Armor Dental products in Europe, such as the Chompr, the ScanMate, MirroSoft mouth mirrors, and Tongue Guides. Consequently, bulk packages of these products can be ordered in the OMFT.info webshop for virtually the same prices as from Armor Dental itself in the United States, but without the high shipping costs and import duties for products from America.
