An important update is available for the MyoScale. We strongly recommend that every user perform this update. This ensures more consistent and reliable measurements.
What is new?
We had the MyoScale developed about a year ago and have since gained considerable experience with it together with users. It occasionally happened that a sudden anomalous result was recorded due to a single short peak moment at the beginning of the measurement. We have therefore optimized the measurement process. As soon as the MyoScale is ready for a measurement, a green ‘READY’ bar now appears on the screen. From that moment on, you can push hard with your tongue for at least 3 seconds. The measurement starts automatically. The progress bar counts down to zero. After that, the result of the measurement is displayed on the screen.
In practice, this leads to better timing at the start, more predictable behavior, and measurements that you can compare better—both with your previous measurements and measurements from different users or practitioners.
What do you need for the update?
Your MyoScale device, the USB cable supplied with the MyoScale, and a Windows or Mac computer with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge installed as the browser (Firefox and Safari do not work for this update).

Free attachments for MyoScale from the first production runs
Probably you have a MyoScale from the first production runs (check the sticker on the back of the device: LOT 001 or LOT 002). For that version, we have a new set of attachments for you free of charge that are sturdier and smoother. You only pay the shipping costs.
