The splittable head model that is now available in the webshop, can be used to visually explain oral and laryngeal structures. The two halves of the head are held together by magnets and can be separated to show, for example, the muscle distribution in the oral area and the larynx. The cross-sections also provide a view of the palate, tonsils, the bone structures of the larynx, the nasal cavity, and the sinuses. The anatomy model is used by speech therapists, dentists, orthodontists, osteopaths, and orofacial therapists, among others.

Made of sturdy plastic, the model is 29 cm high (including the base) and measures 15.5 cm at its widest point. The two halves are held together by magnets but are easy to separate. The whole thing is placed in a metal ring on a plastic base, both of which are included. The model also includes explanations of all the numbered elements.

The anatomy model is available here.
