The manufacturer of Myotape has implemented a number of changes to these mouth tapes. As a result, myotape looks different and comes in different packaging. Additionally, there is good news for users with sensitive skin: production of myotape sensitive has resumed.

Myotape is used to encourage lip closure and prevent mouth breathing. The tape is applied around the mouth, allowing the lips to remain closed naturally. This supports nasal breathing, both during the day and while sleeping.

No more printing, except for children

The most noticeable change is the packaging. Whereas the tapes were previously supplied in packs of 90, the packages now contain 30 tapes. The appearance has also changed. The standard tapes no longer feature a print. Instead, the tapes now have a neutral skin-colored finish. An exception applies to the small tapes, intended for children. From now on, these are exclusively available with zebra, tiger, and giraffe prints.

Myotape sensitive available again

Additionally, myotape sensitive is available again. This hypoallergenic variant has been specially developed for people with sensitive skin who experience discomfort when using regular tapes. The sensitive version offers a skin-friendly alternative without compromising the effectiveness of the mouth tape. All these tapes are skin-colored, including the small version for children.

The updated myotapes are available in the OMFT.info webshop. Of the tapes with 90 pieces per pack, only the large versions are still available (while stocks last).
